Nexoya recognized by Zurich Innovation Championship for excellence in campaign optimization


Direct insurer DA Direkt, part of the Zurich Insurance Group, achieved a significant increase in online policy sales during the pilot phase using Nexoya’s marketing analytics platform.

Zurich and Berlin, October 21, 2025 – As part of the global innovation program Zurich Innovation Championship, Zurich Insurance Group collaborates with selected start-ups that undergo a rigorous selection process. The initiative aims to identify, validate, and scale innovative solutions worldwide. Founded in 2018, Nexoya has emerged as a pioneer in AI-driven performance marketing optimization. Nexoya was given the opportunity to demonstrate the effectiveness of its AI-based budget optimization for digital cross-channel campaigns in practice. The German online direct insurer DA Direkt, a subsidiary of Zurich Gruppe Deutschland, put the platform to the test – with impressive results: a substantial increase in digital policy conversions during the pilot phase. For this achievement, Nexoya was named EMEA winner of the 8th Zurich Innovation Championship 2025, held under this year’s theme “(em)powered by AI”.

DA Deutsche Allgemeine Versicherung, or DA Direkt, is a leading online direct insurer in Germany and part of the Zurich Gruppe Deutschland under the Zurich Insurance Group umbrella. Through data-driven online performance marketing across social media and search engines, combined with ongoing website optimization, DA Direkt continues to successfully acquire new customers. In addition to using AI in content marketing, the insurer aims to set new standards in performance campaign optimization and budget allocation with AI. To test this potential, DA Direkt ran a pilot using Nexoya’s solution.
