Nexoya strengthens board with senior marketing strategist Marco Caradonna
Founder and Managing Partner of BlackSheep MadTech Fund strategically shapes the international expansion of the Swiss marketing analytics start-up.
Zurich and Berlin, June 12, 2023 – Nexoya welcomes Marco Caradonna as a new board member. The internationally recognized CEO and marketing expert founded Simple Agency, the largest digital marketing agency in Italy. He also served as CEO of the media agency Carat Italia (part of Dentsu Inc.) and is co-founder and Managing Partner at BlackSheep MadTech Fund. The start-up Nexoya, based in Zurich and Berlin, benefits in particular from Caradonna’s international experience in the marketing industry: with his expertise, he provides strategic support to the founders Manuel Dietrich and Marco Hochstrasser in the international orientation of the company, which was founded in 2018. Nexoya optimizes and automates digital multi-channel marketing campaigns based on artificial intelligence. Advertisers thus achieve up to 70 percent more conversions.
Until now, the board of directors had four members: the two Nexoya founders Manuel Dietrich and Marco Hochstrasser, the president of the Swiss ICT Investor Club (SICTIC) Thomas Dübendorfer, and the international marketing strategist Chris Boorman, who worked as a marketing executive for B2B SaaS companies such as Salesforce or NTT, among others. With Marco Caradonna, a proven marketing strategist and media expert with international experience, now strengthens the board. The board primarily fulfills strategic tasks at Nexoya: the members consult with regard to the major strategy, make strategic decisions for the business units, and develop the long-term planning for the start-up.
Enormous potential on international markets
Marco Caradonna sees good opportunities for international expansion: “Nexoya is the only solution in the market that combines state-of-the-art AI-based predictions and algorithms with fully automated and optimized cross-channel budget allocation. Five million US dollars for expansion
Caradonna’s enthusiasm for Nexoya was already evident: in his role as Managing Partner at BlackSheep MadTech, the Series-A investor funded the startup as lead investor in the five million US dollar investment round. BlackSheep MadTech Fund, managed by Eureka! Venture SGR, specializes in investments in innovative marketing and advertising technology and is the leading European investor in the marketing industry. The capital secures further growth in Switzerland and Germany and enables Nexoya to expand into new markets. Currently, Nexoya AG is represented at its headquarters in Zurich for the Swiss market and Nexoya GmbH with a team in Berlin for customers in Germany. In the course of internationalization, the team’s next step will be to focus on Great Britain and then on the USA expansion.

The start-up Nexoya Ltd., based in Zurich and Berlin, has been implementing automated analyses for the digital marketing of medium-sized and large companies since 2018 – in a user-friendly manner and in compliance with data protection laws.
